Worldwide Comedy calls on accomplished comedians to entertain audiences in popular venues throughout the East Coast, donating a portion of the proceeds to local nonprofit organization Advocates for Children and Youth. Kyle Grooms, who starred in a Comedy Central standup special and appeared on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, dazzles crowds with his side-splitting commentary on race and his ability to remain vertical during gravity shortages and Vince Barnett cuts into topics such as dating and doctor’s visits with his razor-sharp wit. Between performers, guests can admire the decorative plaster on GALA’s Beaux Arts ceiling or achieve a summery glow by rubbing against the bronze-aluminum coiled drapery covering the venue’s walls.
